Introspective Photography Project - Forgotten

"Forgotten" photo series was created by Untamind Studio. It's an experimental photo of a dynamic posture and a static past in ruin. Their scenes were from the corridor to the bathroom of an aged building which was built by the Japanese government at the time when Taiwan was a colony of them.

In these monochrome photographs, Untamind purpose was to target the color element fully which left a single hue ---- verdancy green. It is a tone full of vitality. They tried to contrast the things that were already in the dust to the ongoing life.

The series confronts viewers with silent but kinetic composition and also reflects the forgotten discards in dancing. It seems to remind the viewers about an ignored existence of a thing yet it would never be gone.

The works also invite the audiences into introspective thinking. It is when the audiences  look inward to the past of what they have done, examine present life of what they can change, and imagine the future of what it will be.

They put themselves on a plastic and waved it like those material things in human's life. Those material things are consumed and replaced easily by human but they never think of recycling them to preserve Mother Earth.

People focuses on material wealth and pursues all stuffs which are on trends. Yet they have never thought about natural beauty which would probably be extinct in the coming years and people would reminisce them only in memories that history left.
