Illusion Photography Project

What would you do when you are in a dream? "Illusion" is a funny photography project. The artists built a dream-like scene and used computer skill to make an authentic element becomes a fictitious one. They explored how to create an fantasy frame in the real world. They took a challenge to create a nonlogical and unbelievable visual art through the artificial way.

They used a plastic cloth to create space and painted on the top of it. After that, water was filled  inside. A weird setting was showed in a house — a pond in a living room. The model explored body movements imagining she was in a dream and what would she do in it. Also, the artist used varied color to show people's different moods in the different stages of dream. Red conveys alertness, blue conveys exploration, and orange conveys comfort. Most people feel nervous and uncertain in the beginning. Then they will explore their dream, try to find the exit and discover whether their dreams end well or not. Some people would be bold in the process yet some would feel chill-out in the end. This project explored the situation when people are at the state of dreaming.

In dreams, we suddenly appear in there without any reason. We don't know how to get in and out. We only wait till the moment we wake up. Dreamland is a totally different world. It's closer to our subconscious. The sight we see sometimes cheat on us. You try to close your eyes and there is something over there. The truth may not what you see but dreams may reflect what you want. The sight what you see is sometimes just an illusion.
